My Qualifications
I was introduced to counselling many years ago when, as for many of us, life's circumstances had become quite challenging.
It was following my own journey that I then wanted to help others going through their own adversities in life and support them in understanding themselves. I studied a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and then completed my BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Counselling at the University of Surrey.
Following this I gained a Diploma in Counselling Adolescents (11+ Years).
Being a member of the BACP, I am committed to undertaking continual professional development and therefore attend frequent workshops and courses to ensure I continue to work effectively in meeting the needs of my clients.
I have volunteered as a counsellor at a number of local counselling charities, where I have provided counselling to both adults and young people.
From the muddiest of waters grows the lotus seed
Overcoming all obstacles it reaches the water's surface where upon petal by petal, one by one, it opens into the most beautiful flower.
